Creating an online account only requires your name, email and a password. We NEVER share your personal information.
Subsequent bookings from your online account will eliminate the need to repeatedly fill in your personal details with each booking. You will also have access to manage your appointments from your account.
Sandra has over 20 years of experience and is the founder and owner of Body Balance. Sandra's years of experience in volunteer work with the Shumka dancers, track and field, Olympic lifting, hockey, soccer as well local fundraising events has given her the ability to help and mentor many new therapists. Sandra has keen interest in athletics of any kind and has continued to educate herself in modalities such as kinesiology taping etc. Her specialty is deep tissue massage in an interactive environment with her clients. She has fostered a clinic that encourages the constant learning and cooperation between therapists to bring the highest quality of work to each client. The free flow booking system that she has developed and fostered allows clients a great variety of massage experience and education about the needs of their own well being. Sandra is in compliance with the new insurance standards for Manulife, Blue cross and Sunlife.

Erin is a long time practitioner at Body Balance. She is a Registered Massage Therapist having graduated from the Grant MacEwen program with 2200 hours. Erin is trained in facial reflexology and practices deep tissue, therapeutic, relaxation as well as maternity massage. When not at the clinic, her interests include traveling as well as Latin Dancing.
Erin is a member of the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada.

Serina graduated from an 1100-hour massage therapy program at Foothills College of Massage in 1999. With over a decade of experience in the profession, Serina offers deep tissue, relaxation and pre-natal massage for her clients. When not at the clinic, Serina enjoys cooking and live theatre.
Serina is a member in good standing with the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada and is currently working towards her Level 1 Reiki certificate.

Naomi Holmstrom is a graduate of Grant MacEwan's Massage Therapy and Holistic Health Practitioner Diploma programs. Naomi has been working as a Registered Massage Therapist for ten years and is a member in good standing with the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada. Naomi provides deep tissue, therapeutic, pre/post natal and infant massage, and relaxation massage. Naomi utilizes a variety of techniques, including Acupressure, trigger point work, myofascial release, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation and passive stretch. Naomi is also an Advanced Reiki practitioner.
Her other interests include spending time in nature, activities with her young family, hiking, and the occasional perusal of literature with a good cup of coffee.
Sara is a member of the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada and a graduate of the Grant MacEwan Massage Therapy program with 2200 hours of training including modalities such as: hydrotherapy, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) stretching, sports massage and more. She particularly enjoys providing deep tissue, therapeutic, relaxation, and pre-natal massage to her clients.
Sara is presently finishing her University degree in Kinesiology at the U of A. She looks forward to helping you in your next appointment.
Sara is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at the University of Alberta. She is also interested in running, yoga and travel. She is very passionate about fitness and wellbeing.
Stephen is a graduate of the 2200 hour Massage Therapy Program at Grant MacEwan University. He has experience in hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, manual lymph drainage, joint mobilizations, sports massage, therapeutic exercise and more. Stephen has undertaken a significant career change with the goal of helping clients alleviate pain and return to healthy active function. Stephen also offers Thai massage for those who are looking for an invigorating alternative to conventional Swedish massage.
Stephen has a keen interest maximizing the performance and recovery needs of athletes. He volunteers regularly with track and field athletes, hockey players and swimmers to assist with their training and competition goals.
Stephen is an outdoor enthusiast with a passion for flyfishing Alberta’s pristine streams. He also stays active playing hockey, cycling, skiing, practicing yoga and running with his dogs.
Jay is our newest RMT at Body Balance. Although he is new, he has participated in our mentorship program at Body Balance for several months and has been actively treating patience under the guidance of all of the therapists at our clinic.
He has completed his 2200 hours, but is still in school to complete a 3000 hour program, well above industry standard while working part-time at Body Balance. Jay has a GUIDE DOG Elsa who spends the day greeting his clients and sleeps soundly in her basket during you treatment. Jay is an avid sportsman and is involved in a highly competitive Dragon boating team,that compete all over Canada. He stays fit with daily workouts and is involved in many volunteer activities and events. He has a keen interest in deep tissue and sports massage, but capable of relaxation work and is trained in hot stone massage as well.
Janice has been employed as a healthcare aid while attending the Makami Massage program. She is a single mother who is aspiring to continue her education and has become a successful RMT. Jancice has learned many useful skills in school including: therapeutic & deep tissue massage, hot stone and sports massage. She has completed her 2200hrs to successfully become an RMT. She has also completed 480 hours in the mentorship program designed by the Body Balance group and has had the benefit of learning from each therapist at Body Balance. This mentorship program is unique in that the students have learned from Edmonton's very best therapists as well as existing clients that sign up for the opportunity to help mold these individuals into the exceptional therapists. Janice is continuing her education through Makami to earn 3000 hours, well above industry standards.

Christian is a fully licensed Massage Therapist with a 3000 Hour Advanced Clinical Massage Therapy diploma which is well above industry standards. He has been with Body Balance since 2017 and has been participating in our mentor-ship program. He is another success story with exceptional skills.

Christian is knowledgeable in a variety of massage techniques which includes deep tissue massage, myofascial trigger point release, neuromuscular techniques,
joint mobilizations, and postural education.
His truest passion is to encourage and promote the body’s own natural healing abilities through massage.
Francesco is a student from Viccars massage college. he is certified in Thai massage and teaches yoga.
Francesco is hoping to learn all he can in our mentorship program and will have his 2200 hours by June 2018.
