I was ready for a change that would allow me to give back to the community and make a real difference in people’s lives.
Michele recognizes the need and desire for resolving pain at all levels of the body. She appreciates and understands because she has walked through pain to health and wellbeing. She practices massage therapy in Vancouver to help you on your road to recovery.
Michele graduated from the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy in Vernon, BC in 1997. She continued her Post Graduate work in Postural Alignment, Trigger Point Work, Muscle Energy and Myofascial Release. Michele was a client and also worked as an intern at the Victoria Pain Clinic.
Some of the specific pain syndromes she has experienced success with are Sciatica, Hip and Frozen Shoulder problems. Using trigger point as the primary modality, Michele is able to have her clients participate in their therapy and be intimately involved in their own healing process.
It is Michele’s passion to help people resolve their pain syndromes; she has tremendous compassion, empathy and understanding for the process of healing and wellness. She recognizes the need for therapeutic treatments in resolving injury and pain, and values the art of relaxation massage. Michele takes the time with her clients to teach home care stretches and hydrotherapy thus ensuring understanding and involvement in their
Pam has been a Registered Massage Therapist for 22 years, bringing experience, skill and interpersonal warmth to her treatment room. Each massage is tailored specifically to your concerns using a variety of techniques such as: deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, muscle energy technique, neuromuscular therapy and joint mobilizations as well as therapeutic exercise and home care suggestions.
Pam will determine massage pressure based on your tolerance, preference as well as therapeutic considerations. She has experience assisting clients living with depression, anxiety, PTSD and stress/burnout - providing a sense of relaxation and well-being using a variety of Swedish Massage Techniques.
In her free time, she is either in a dance studio, on her bike or in the mountains enjoying hiking or nordic skiing.
