Jen de Bourcier
RCST®
Following many years of raising a family and working in an engaging non-profit organization, Jen initiated a new profession as a Biodynamic Craniosacral therapist. In 2015 she discovered the potency of nervous system regulating body work, through exploring her own health challenges. She sought support to resolve numerous long-standing symptoms such as inexplicable pain flare ups, inflammation, anxiety, exhaustion and more. Nervous system dysregulation, historical trauma effects held in the body, and chronic stress was at the root of the matter. Through reclaiming nervous system balance, embodiment, and the ensuing exploration towards health, calm and capacity, she knew she wanted to enter this work as a practitioner. Jen supports clients with a variety of challenges such as chronic pain, anxiety, post-concussion symptoms, emotional challenges, surgery recovery, dissociation, accumulated activation, pregnancy/birth/postpartum, trauma recovery and PTSD. She is inspired by the progress, experiences and reclamation she is privileged to witness in clients who frequent her practice. In addition, she is currently attending the Somatic Experiencing Professional Training program to broaden her trauma and nervous system support skillset. In her personal life, Jen lives with her husband of more than 20 yrs. and their three teenage children, on an expansive rural property. She joyfully grows a plethora of food and flowers in the garden, selling bouquets during the growing season. She enjoys connection, fun and renewal amongst a long-standing group of close friends. Jen currently sits on a board of directors of a local foundation committed to preventing power-based abuse and violence.
