RMT
Kyla has been a registered massage therapist since 2010. She graduated from the 3000 hour program at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria. She has a wide range of experience with everything from athletes to pregnancy, post injury recovery to everyday tension. Having taken many continuing education courses on prenatal and postpartum treatment, as well as experiencing pregnancy for herself multiple times she does have an interest in pregnancy and new parent care. She has worked in many multidisciplinary clinics, both in Vancouver and on Vancouver Island and is excited to be starting her own practice in her new community of Coquitlam.
Her studies in osteopathy over the past decade have influenced her practice. She integrates the philosophy and techniques such as craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation, myofascial release, and joint mobilizations into her practice to help get to the root of pain and tension and promote healing. Kyla is planning to complete her final year at the Canadian School of Osteopathy Manual Practice in 2025.
Please note:
Kyla is visually impaired and has had a guide dog with her in the treatment room for most of her career. While she isn’t currently working with a guide, there may be a dog in the room with her in the future.
