By design, our bodies, cells, nature, and cycles of life reflect a creative flow that is expansive, continuously evolving, and mysterious. Ever since she can remember, Julie has been fascinated with natural remedies, plants, energy, and the universe at large. She believes healing is an evolving concept, just like forms of treatment and self-care.
Julie completed the Manual Osteopathic Therapy program through the Manual Osteopathic College of Canada in December 2022, graduating with honours. MOCC is recognized and licensed as a Type 2 World Health Organization benchmark program. Her osteopathic training provided an expansive period of growth in knowledge and skills, integrating well with her massage therapy background and holistic approach to healing.
Julie’s toolbox holds a wealth of knowledge from more than 20 years of experience in bodywork, natural health, yoga, movement medicine, self-development, and somatic studies. Most recently, she has expanded into somatic awareness, touch, and exercises, providing further opportunities to evaluate, explore, and retrain patterns in the nervous system. Her courses include Trauma Informed Somatic Intelligence, Trauma Imprint Repair processes, and Hanna Somatic Exercises.
Julie is a member of the Canadian Massage & Manual Osteopathic Therapists Association and provides emailed receipts for all sessions so clients can submit claims with ease.
Julie takes every opportunity to breathe deeply, dance, hike, bike, and immerse herself in the beauty of the Okanagan.
She looks forward to sharing her gifts and continuously evolving skills with clients at Tidal Elements.
I some how screwed up and scheduled my appointment at a time I new I wouldn't be able to make, Julie was awesome and found an opening that worked better for my schedule so I didn't need to cancel.
I really enjoyed my time with Julie, I've got a lot going on health wise and and she's amazing at trying to help my body find balance with everything I've got going on
Julie was amazing and actually tackled some of the stiffness in my shoulders and neck better than the RMT I've been seeing.
Julie has helped me so much in my healing process. I was struggling with pain throughout my entire body for the majority of my life. As a chronic migraine sufferer who has tried just about everything to find relief, I can gratefully say she has helped find a joy in being in my body again. She is incredibly thorough in her treatments and is truly a gifted healer. Julie was able to find places in my body I didn't even realize were causing me issues. Her knowledge of the entire human body shows how passionate she is about her work. I feel stronger and healthier after every treatment, and I am noticing major improvements from the knowledgable advice she provides me. I highly recommend her to everyone who has struggled with chronic pain like myself.
Julie is AMAZING!!! She is so good at what she does.
I’ve had both Thai Massage and Osteopathic treatments from Julie and would highly recommend them both! I know that I’m always in good hands with Julie as she employs both an intuitive and thoughtful approach, leaving me with a deep sigh of relief. Because of her treatments a persistent neck issue was resolved and hasn’t come back, and it’s been over a year since she treated it!
